Before I became a self proclaimed Marketing Genius I help the title of 9th best comic book publisher in North America (as chosen by Comic Buyers Guide in 2004….I realize it was a while ago but a guy has to hold on to stuff like this). Since most of my books are available on bittorrent anyway I am going to start to post a few of the issues on this site in the coming days. One thing I want to show you know is one of my most prized possessions from my comic book days. What you are about to read is an authentic book forward from non other then Stan “The Man” Lee (co-creator of Spiderman, X-Men, Fantastic Four and Daredevil) for my book Eclipse and Vega.
Stan is a fan and a great guy. This forward will be used in a collection of the best issues of Eclipse and Vega titles “Eclipse and Vega…The Best Issues vol #1” coming out later this year

Let’s put it this way…
I can’t tell if Eclipse and Vega is intended (or should that be “are” intended?) for adventure fans who like their stories laced with humor, or humor fans who like their comedy sprinkled with adventure, or guys who like stories about well-built heroines, or girls who like to have their own cool role models, or any combination of the above—and with two you get egg roll.
The point is, I seem to have gotten hooked on Eclipse and Vega.
For some inexplicable reason, I’ve also become of fan of Saul whateverthehell his last name is. I’ve grown to admire his originality and his willingness to take the superhero genre and combine it with wildly outrageous humor and even more wildly endowed females and then homogenize the whole shootin’ mess into a totally unique, almost indescribable form of story telling.
So, for sheer audacity and a heaping helping of racy humor, I hereby bestow upon Eclipse and Vega the universally sought-after Lee Medallion of Merit. In addition, for his heroic effort to turn the comicbook medium upside-down and sideways, I likewise award the combined Chutzpah-of-the-Year title and trophy to Saul, with the stipulation that he continues to surprise us with the hilarious and habit-forming misadventures of exotic Eclipse and voluptuous Vega.
