I just found out that Larry “Bud” Melman passed away yesterday. I have been talking about him for a month or so in our office because I thought he would’ve made a cool collectable toy/figure.

I loved the bits Letterman would do with LBM at NBC and always thought it was a shame that he wasn’t allowed to keep his stage name when Dave moved to CBS.
